anjuna Beach
Anjuna Beach is famous the world over. It is also known for its “Flea Market,” which is held every Wednesday during the tourist season from October to May. It’s a place that gets tourists without marketing. The majority of visitors are Russians, Israelis, and Europeans, as well as domestic visitors. Vagator and Chapora beaches are to the north of Anjuna, and on the southern end is the beautiful Calangute Beach.
Beach parties still take place over here. Anjuna also has some of Goa’s most popular restaurants, which are well-known for their sundowner parties. Anjuna is a major attraction and a must-see for every person visiting Goa. On Wednesdays, tourists from all over Goa flock to Anjuna Flea Market, where they are greeted by a scene of hundreds of stalls and loud music. It’s always an amazing sight. Here you can find stalls selling small artifacts, clothes, beach wear, wood carvings, outfits with intricate embroidery, glittering fabrics, puppets, jewellery and gems, and mirror work. If it’s your day, you can walk away with a good deal from a foreign tourist selling his belongings just to make money for an extended stay in Goa. Artists doing henna tattoos, permanent body tattoos, and body piercing are also found here. This market has a mind-boggling cornucopia of goods from almost every part of India. As you walk towards the beach, you will come across food stalls serving mouthwatering seafood accompanied by an icy cocktail, beer, or fresh lime soda.
Along the beach at Anjuna, there are shacks. It also has rocks along the beach. What could be more refreshing than having a late-evening swim on the beach and then tracking your muddy footprints to the dining shack at the beach and enjoying some of the exotic sea food served there along with a cocktail? a perfect way to end the day.
