Bondla Forest - (Eco Tourism Complex) Goa

Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at a distance of about 52 kilometers from Panjim. Bondla is smaller compared to the other three wildlife sanctuaries in Goa, with an area of only 8 sq. Kilometers. It was established in 1969. More than a sanctuary, it is an ideal jungle resort and a major attraction for school-going children and nature lovers. Its mini-zoological park, deer safari park, formal gardens, botanical gardens, nature education centre, bird life, wild animals, nature trails, and archaeological exhibit attract people throughout the year. Accommodation in the form of cottages is provided by the Goa Tourism Department.
The Bondla zoo circuit consists of tigers, wild boars, elephants, crocodiles, snakes (which include King Cobras and Phyton), Gaur, leopards, bears, peacocks, civlets, deers (barking deer, sambar, etc.), Fox, and porcupines.
