Miramar Beach is the closest beach to Panaji. It lies three kilometers from the city and about 1-kilometer ahead of the convergence of the Arabian Sea and the Mandovi River. It’s not one of the most scenic beaches of Goa, but it is one of the most frequented beaches of Goa as it is closest to the capital of Goa, Panaji. There is a statue at the roundabout at the entrance to the beach depicting Hindu and Christian unity. The beach has fine, silvery sand, which makes it ideal for taking long walks and soaking up the sun. It is visited by people who come to relax in the evenings after a day’s work. You can see many people taking morning and evening walks here. There are a lot of good restaurants and lodging facilities here. The Club Gasper Dias is situated here. The Dona Paula beach is situated at a distance of 4 kilometers from Miramar Beach.
