Rejuvenate yourself in Goa

Ingredients:
60 ml of Urak
1 glass lime based softdrink / lemon juice
1 to 2 green chilies
Table salt
Lemon juice
Ice cubes

Directions
Take 60 ml of urak.
Fill up your glass with limca / lemon juice.
Add a pinch of salt and some ice cubes.
Serve over a green chili (not too spicy) and a wedge of lemon.

Cashew apples are collected from trees, and then they are separated from the seeds. These cashews are crushed either manually or by machine, and the juice is separated and collected. These are then tied in bundles and placed under a weight. The juice that comes out is known as Niro. Niro is a non-alcoholic refreshing drink.

The collected juice is fermented for three days and then distilled to produce urak (jungle juice). Two portions of Urak are further distilled to get one portion of Feni.
