Palolem beach is one of the most beautiful and idyllic beache of South Goa. Its a streach of white sand. Its has a shady cover of the Palm trees. There are plenty of beach huts and beach shacks along the beach. Boat trips are organised to the islands along the Palolem beach coast. At low tide one can walk to the island at the northern end of the beach. The rock known as “Pandavas Dholl” which gives sound like drum with blowing breeze is situated to the southern end of the beach. One can see many foreigners kayaking here. There are many beach shacks all along the coast. Accomodation is available in the form of guest houses and small resorts.
Colva Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of South Goa. It is one of the main atarctions of south Goa. Basically Colva is a fishing village.
On 2nd October the Colva Fama is held where the miracalous statues of Infant Jesus (Menino Jesus) is brough out for venerations
There are a number of guest houses and good restaurants located here. Its a ideal place for relaxation and far more peaceful compared to the crowded beaches like Calangute of north Goa
Agonda beach is another beautiful beach of South Goa. It is situated at around from Cabo da Rama. Its a untouched 2 kilometer streach of white sand. Its very quite place. Its a rocky beach. There are beach huts and beach shacks along the beach. Accomodation is available in the form of guest houses and small resorts. Its a safe and peaceful place to stay.
